Don’t read this! I am about to reveal why most wedding videos are e x t r e m e l y b o r i n g and n o t a t a l l what a bride really wants!
Many brides often come to me certain that what they want is a 1 or 2 hour epic video of their wedding day. . . .
However, the reality is that no one truly wants to endure an excruciating, blow by blow record of every minute of an entire wedding day. . . . (except, perhaps, Mother-In-Laws!)
The truth is that what a bride really wants is to re-live the emotional journey of her wedding day. She wants to be transported from the mundane here and now, to a marvelous place and time that occupies a very special place in her heart. The unspoken longing is to be able to re-experience the feelings of that moment and to share that experience with others.
A lengthy, literal expose of the wedding day will fail to do this. This is because too much literal detail holds the viewer hostage to a rigid perspective that leaves no room for authentic emotional experience to blossom and return.
What succeeds in making it possible to return to that special time and place is a film that purposefully leaves out all of the awkward pauses, delays and distractions that clutter up everyday moments, and instead faithfully conveys the detail and emotional essence of an extraordinary moment.

If you prefer a much longer video that will be tolerated once, and then abandoned on a shelf to gather dust, then I will happily recommend numerous hacks who do exactly that kind of work every weekend!
I, however, do not offer that kind of rubbish! I make one-of-a-kind films that are cherished like the memories that they contain.
